“Agnès Varda, my favourite film director once said “I don’t want to show things, but to give people the desire to see” and I felt that. For me, (audio)visual art is not so much about serving up one’s own work in a definitive form, like some kind of ultimate truth, as it is rather about encouraging the viewer-observer to come up with their own interpretation. I don’t think of myself as a photographer; I love to capture moments that have touched me in some way, while hoping that through them I can take others on a walk into a world that we might build up together with our imagination and creativity."
